Worldwide Solar Plug & Play Kits: All 10 ENA-Certified Models Explained
Worldwide Solar has 10 compliant Plug-in Solar listings on the ENA G98 Type Test Register, which makes it the third-largest certified brand after City Plumbing and Perlight (13 each). All ten were registered on 23–24 September 2026 and are rated at 0.8 kW, the socket-route limit.
They are not ten different products. They are one kit design, offered as every combination of two microinverters, three panel types and several mounting options.
Last checked: 4 October 2026. Register data from the ENA API (pulled 30 September 2026).

The Short Answer
The hardware is mainstream. Hoymiles is the inverter in City Plumbing's kits, and JA Solar and AIKO are tier-one panel makers. Because each exact combination is on the register, the socket route is open for any of these ten kits.
What we cannot tell you yet is where an ordinary buyer gets one, or at what price. Until we can, the kits we can price and buy are the safer route.

How to Read the Range
Hoymiles vs VaySunic. Both are 800W microinverters with two panel inputs. Hoymiles is the better-known name in the UK, with a longer track record and a widely used monitoring app. VaySunic is less familiar here. Both carry their own ENA references (Hoymiles HOYMZ/14724, VaySunic WUXIX/19818), so the inverter alone is not the deciding factor. Support and warranty are.
Monofacial vs bifacial. A bifacial panel (JAM54D40) also collects light reflected onto its back. That only helps on a ground or fence mount over a pale surface. On a balcony railing with a wall behind it, the gain is close to zero.
"No mounting" kits. Several listings leave out the mount. That is fine if you already have a frame, but budget for one otherwise: a safe mount is the part most likely to be cut corners on.
Is It Legal to Plug In?
Yes, for the exact configurations above. A compliant Plug-in Solar listing is what allows the socket self-install route created by SI 2026/848. Swapping in different panels or a different inverter takes you outside the listing. Notify through myplugin.solar once installed. How notification works.
The earlier non-compliant Worldwide Solar entries were withdrawn rather than left on the register. A brand having had non-compliant entries in the past does not affect these ten. See why kits get listed non-compliant.
FAQ

Where can I buy a Worldwide Solar plug-in kit? We have not verified a consumer shop with prices for these exact configurations. We will add one here when we can check it.
Which Worldwide Solar kit is best? For a balcony: the Hoymiles + JA Solar JAM54D41 kit with mounting. For a garden or flat roof over a light surface: a bifacial JAM54D40 kit on the ballast mount.
